I never believe the "Ageless" part of any cosmetic claim, but it does keep my elderly skin smooth. I have sensitive eyes and this lotion makes the skin under my eyes very red and itchy, so I won't buy it again. When I was in my twenties, the doctor said I'd have to use metrogel or some prescription cream for the rest of my life. I decided that was nonsense, but found that moisturizers didn't sit well on my skin, and heavy ones would simply make me break out.For the last 20 years, I have used an aloe gel for the first layer and then Olay over it. Has completely tamped down the Rosacea without prescriptions. People don't know I have it. I suspect it's the aloe gel that helps the Rosacea, and the light moisturizer helps keep the skin protected and moist. Anyway, unlike the previous poster, I like this cream very much. I also use it on my neck and arms (without the aloe). Even though it has less sunscreen than I would like (my current one has SPF 25 this has 20), I was going to use it. I have normal skin and rarely if ever have allergies to products. With this Olay line, I did not do well - my face turned red and there was something about the consistency of the moisturizer that I didn't like....so for me, it didn't work but it came highly recommended. I finally gave it to my Mom :)!!! |
